Best Student Paper Award at MECO Conference

June 1st, 2017

Members of our Department participated last week in the 6th Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing (MECO 2017), organized in Bar, Montenegro from June 11th to June 15th, 2017. This International Scientific Forum aimed to present and discuss the leading achievements in the modeling, analysis, design, validation and application of embedded computing systems. The conference included excellent keynote speeches and valuable tutorials. The most positive aspect of the conference was the communication with academics that share common research interest.

Our department was represented with five publications. One of these five works titled "Comparison of Histograms of Oriented Gradients and 3-row Average Subtraction (3RAS) Using GprMax", was awarded the Best PhD Student Paper (Crystal Prize) out of a total of 130 papers.

We congratulate all our professors and students and we wish their success pursuits in the future.
