Student Assistant in CEN and BINF

The Student Assistant Program is open to all undergraduate and graduate students in Computer Engineering and Business Informatics programs and it is administered by Computer Engineering Department . The main roles of a student assistant is to help other students in the specific courses and assisting the academic department with their duties. Here is a short job description for a student assistant:

  • You be assisting the professor with the needs that he might have for the course
  • You will be matched with students who have a disability. Your duties may include organizing course materials and retrieving them for students who want extra research materials and you will be assisting with literature searches.
  • Assist other students and juniors at the computer lab in the university
  • You have to be a notetaker. Notetakers are responsible for providing course notes to a student who has a disability. These will either be provided by emailing the notes taken on a laptop or by scanning and emailing handwritten notes within 48 hours.
  • Excellent study skills and knowledge in the subject area (i.e., you have taken the course and/or are majoring in the subject area) are required. Preference will be given to students in their third year or higher.

Deadline for submissions: April 7, 2013. Entries must be received by this date.
