In an effort to promote international collaboration and exchange of knowledge, two staff members from the computer engineering department, Prof. Betim Çiço and Dr. Florenc Skuka, recently participated in the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program in Hungary. They were hosted by the University of Debrecen and spent their time teaching and giving open lectures.

Prof. Betim Çiço took on the task of teaching the Computer Organization course while attending the Digital Design course as a guest. On the other hand, Dr. Florenc Skuka taught the Programming Languages course and attended the System Programming course as a guest lecturer. Both found the experience to be enlightening and fulfilling, as they were able to exchange ideas and best practices with their Hungarian counterparts.

As part of their exchange program, Prof. Çiço and Dr. Skuka gave an open lecture to members of the computer engineering department on Friday. The lecture was well attended, and the professors shared their experiences and insights during their stay in Hungary. They also highlighted the importance of international cooperation in the field of computer engineering and encouraged others to participate in similar programs in the future.

The Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program is designed to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing between universities and institutions in Europe. Prof. Çiço and Dr. Skuka’s participation is a testament to the success of this initiative, and the positive impact it can have on individuals and institutions alike. Their experience is sure to benefit the computer engineering department at their home institution, as well as their colleagues and students.
